Prompt and Circumstance is owned and operated by Boat Launch, Inc. We take privacy seriously and want you to understand how your data is (and isn’t) used.

Use of AI APIs
This app allows you to interact with third-party AI services (e.g., OpenAI, with potential future providers). When you enter a prompt, your input is sent directly to the selected AI API for processing. The API’s response is then displayed in the app. These interactions are governed by the respective provider’s privacy policy. Boat Launch, Inc. does not collect, store, or have access to your prompts or responses.

API Keys
You provide your own API key to use these AI services. Your key is stored securely on your device and is never transmitted to or accessed by Boat Launch, Inc.

Local Storage
While Prompt and Circumstance does not send your data to Boat Launch, Inc. or any other third parties beyond your selected AI provider, the app may store recent prompts, settings, or responses locally on your device for your convenience.
